Windows 10: Check / Change the wireless keyboard settings in a Windows 11 laptop.

I am using Dell Vostro 3578 with external wireless keyboard. The Control keys and Function keys in my wireless keyboard Dell stopped working after the recent windows 11 update. I tried all the available solutions from Microsoft community answers like uninstalling the keyboard drivers, disabling sticky keys, and Dell SupportAssist updates. But nothing works. Anyway, all the keys are working in the laptop's inbuilt keyboard. Is there any way to view and customize the sticky keys / control keys of inbuilt keyboard and wireless keyboard separately in Windows 11?

Thank you for your response.

I suggest you to connect the keyboard to a different computer and check if it works.

Apart from wireless keyboard, I would also suggest you to connect wired keyboard to the computer and check the status.

If issue still persists, try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

Check in compatibility mode.

Download the keyboard drivers from your computer manufacture website for Windows 10.

Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

• Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.
• Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.
• Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed
  with the installation.
• Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

Change language by wireless microsoft keyboard

I understand you have trouble changing between languages in wireless Microsoft keyboard, In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, we would need some information.

1. What is the version and
build of you operating system? In the Search
box, type winver to get this info.

2. Are you aware of any changes made on your computer before this issue occurred?

3. May I know if you are able to switch between languages using a different keyboard?

I suggest you to try the following methods and check:

Method 1: Add the keyboard shortcut to switch languages

1. Go to Settings > Devices > Typing.
2. Now under More Keyboard settings click on Advanced keyboard settings.
3. Click on Language bar options and select Advanced key settings tab.
4. Now click on Change Key Sequence and select the
   desired keyboard shortcut.
5. Click on OK and Apply.

Method 2:

I would suggest you to refer the article on
Troubleshooting wireless and Bluetooth keyboard issues
and check if it fixes the issue.

Keyboard input lag (Logitech K270 wireless keyboard, Windows 10 20H2)

Hi there. I've got yet another Windows 10 problem. lol

This time it's my keyboard. I'm using a Logitech K270 wireless keyboard, on Windows 10 Pro 20H2. I have been experiencing keyboard input lag off and on for a couple months now, and I've searched for possible solutions, but none so far have worked. I was hoping you guys could suggest some fixes.

Here's what I've tried, based on the suggestions I've found on the web:

• Updating the keyboard/dongle's drivers (there are no drivers on Logitechs's site, oddly) and firmware. Nope.
• Swapping USB ports. Nada.
• Unplugging any extraneous USB devices. Zilch.
• Checking the batteries. No joy.

As I was typing this it was lagging here and there. It's a bit disconcerting. Anyway... I don't think I missed anything, but if you need more information or diagnostics, lemme know and I'll upload 'em.
