  1. Check for new drivers for Win10 on your motherboard site.

I just went to ASUS and saw that there were new Win10 drivers for the Intel chipset, LAN, and Rapid Start in the last couple of weeks, one just a couple of days ago. Check your motherboard site to see if you have recent updates as well. The only issue I have after updating is now I have an "unknown" device showing in my device manager, heh. That will probably be gotten rid of as manufacturers slowly roll out Win10 drivers. For instance, my Samsung Magician software Rapid Mode still does not recognize Windows 10 for my Samsung 850Pro SSD (which is why it is still sitting on the computer desk). It took HP months to get Win 7 and 8 drivers out as I recall. As least Intel is there as well as NVidia. I donno about AMD. Anyone out there with AMD CPU or graphics card confirm that AMD has new Win10 64 bit drivers yet?

PS Thanks to whoever moved my post to where it should have been in the first place! Heh.

    :)

  2. upgraded to Window 10 but MT4, Skype, Chrome, Teamviewer won't connect to server

I had a similar problem which I solved by preloading all of the Windows 10 drivers for my new motherboard and CPU before running the upgrade. If you can connect to the internet check that your network drivers are updated on your hardware. (Go to your
hardware platform support site and go to your particular motherboard support page and download the Windows 10 drivers from there).

  3. Intel® HD Graphics 4000 Driver Series Windows 10 64bit

    Hi Dominic,

You can't get the latest driver from intel website. When you go to the intel site, it will prompt you to go to windows update site again.

I had black screen for me as well, as when I install win10, I was connected to the internet, Win10 thus went ahead to get latest driver for all drivers, this resulted in the latest driver showing black screen. Lucky for me though, I have setup remote on
my win7, so I remote and uninstall the graphic driver. After uninstalling the the intel hd driver my screen showed, as it is using the default graphic driver, the resolution is only able to show 640 * 480.

The solution was to install the latest motherboard driver. I read it somewhere that the old motherboard driver is handling boot up differently and that maybe the cause.

    Phil,

Maybe try checking your motherboard directly instead of through acer. You need to flash your bios (not driver) to the latest. Mine was a Dell laptop and showing blackscreen, so yes you guys aren't alone.

Thanks for the reminder to check for new drivers. BTW I'm using a 250Gb Samsung 850 Pro with Samsung Magician software since Build 10074 with no problems (that I have noticed).*Smile

Gigabyte unfortunately doesn't have anything past W8 in lieu of drivers for my MB. AMD is pretty well up to date with drivers and so is Realtec so I pick all drivers from them. If there's nothing of new driver updates from MB manufacturer, look for them at manufactures of parts on it, Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Via, Realtec etc. they are more likely to have drivers up to date.

That's good to know since I have that same board. Now Creative needs to get off their arse and put out the Win 10 drivers for their ZXR soundcards.

Nothing showing for my ASUS K75DE laptop for Windows 10. My ASUS motherboards are too old to even bother looking.

  15. My laptop has an AMD A-10 APU, I go to AMD for that anyway. That's about the only driver I look for updates for, and that is updated regularly. Unfortunately, I was getting a lot of ccc has stopped working messages in Windows 10. I'll have another go on the 29th though. My motherboards have an NVidia chip-set that NVidia hasn't released a new driver for in a dogs age. They work fine in Windows 10 with its stock drivers so not really an issue.
