    Strange Entries in Windows Registry

100 minutes, any program/software that fails to produce results in 15 minutesor so must be aborted..100 min.only damages hardware/software..If Chinese entries exist,& before you edit the registry (Microsoft) has/always said/says,leave registry alone....Best
bet,try using system restore,if a restore point exist earlier than Chinese registry data might contain..Maybe best bet, leave settings as/is w/o editing

There are 3 items in my registry with chinese characters. Malware?

Something infected my computer, made my Avast premium not load at all and I am unable to purchase Malwarebytes premium.

There were 3 items in my registry that had Chinese characters. Avast said they could remove them from my registry for a price. I already paid them for premium, why should i have to pay them another $100 to remove what they let slip by? They are the ones
who found these items after I called when I was unable to load Avast and they remotely looked over my pc. They finally just removed my Avast and then reloaded it and I can scan now, however the full scan comes up clean. I've run it about 5 times. I also
tried to load my Malwarebytes free and at first it wouldn't load but I managed to get it up and scanned and it came up with 10 pups, 3 of which were registry items. I even went to try to purchase the premium addition of Malwarebytes and it won't enable me.
A screen comes up when I click upgrade but it just announces New years 25% off. And nothing to click to proceed. I know I need to speak with them, but I also was wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge of Chinese characters in their registry.
Are they malware? Can I just delete them? I have no idea what the 3 were that Malwarebytes came up with because they state them as:

    NAME - PUP.OPTIONAL.SLIMWARE

    TYPE - REGISTRY KEY

    LOCATION - HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENTVERSION

and don't identify them with chinese symbols. So, anyone have experience with this? Possible Malware? I don't want to mess up my registry.

    Weird/Unrecognizable entry on Registry Editor

Hello! My name is Mostafa, and I will try my best to assist you with this so that you find a satisfactory solution.

I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue. The entry you're seeing in the Registry Editor is written in Chinese characters, and its purpose is unknown.

You can try to identify the source of the Registry key:

    1. Use your antivirus or anti-malware software to perform a full system scan and look for any signs of malicious software on your computer. If the scan detects anything, follow the recommended steps to remove the malware.

    2. Open the Task Manager and go to the "Startup" tab to see if there are any programs listed that you don't recognize. If you find any suspicious programs, research them online to see if they're related to the Registry key you're seeing.

    3. There are several tools available that can monitor changes to the Registry and alert you when new keys or values are added. These tools can help you identify the source of the Registry key and determine if it's related to a legitimate program or not.

You can try to remove it by following the steps below:

    1. Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.

    2. Type “regedit” (without quotes) and press Enter.

    3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\潃瑮潲慐敮屬敄歳潴p.

    4. Right-click on the registry key and select Delete.

    5. Confirm that you want to delete the registry key.

Registry Disclaimer: Important this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Best,

    Mostafa
