Windows 10: Child locked out of Chrome, but removing from family settings hasn't helped

My daughter's computer was set up with Microsoft Family Settings but we didn't restrict time or access to Chrome.

Today she was unable to open Microsoft Chrome she's been using it for years because of family settings. It told her to contact an adult.

I looked at the settings and she should not have been blocked but I turned off all app restrictions anyway and rebooted her machine. She was still locked out so I removed her from the family entirely and she is still locked out of Chrome.

Any ideas on how I fix this?

Unable to remove child account from Family

I am also having the same issue I am not able to remove the childs account I followed the steps and after doing so I received this message in error (
Select Manage my child’s profile info, find your child, then select
Remove consent for this child’s account. Then, try removing this member again).
I'm completely lost I cant find where im given the option to do so (remove consent)

 

is there any way to add child screen time in family safety where "Something went wrong" message, no bump email from child and administrative access are a problem

To resolve your query about Family Safety, we suggest that you remove the Child Account from your Family Settings. To do that, kindly refer to the steps below:

• Open Settings.
• Click Accounts and select Family and other users.
• Tap on the Manage family settings online.
• Click Remove under Your Family.
• Select on the child account you want remove.
• Click Remove.
• You will receive an email confirming the child has been removed from the family.

After that, you may use this link on how to add your Child Account again in Family Settings.

How to delete an adult account in the Family Settings.

To resolve your issue, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• As an adult in the family account, sign in with your Microsoft account.
• Under Your family, click
  Remove.
  
• Click the child account you want to remove, and click Remove.
• You will get an email confirmation once the child has been removed from the family.

Note: If you removed a Child account, it will be tagged as an "Orphaned account" and you will need to attach another "Parent account".
