Windows 10: Chinese hackers hacked my Windows 10? Or what?

After restoring my PC I was asked to connect to a network and was surprised to see my Altice router (technically the public side of my router available to any Altice customers) appeared with a chinese (presumed) “connect” message.

This concerns me because as in the second pic (after concern led me to do a full reinstall) it returned to normal). I have never selected any Chinese language option for anything, live in New Jersey, and have no relation to anyone or anything Chinese.

Is there something i’m missing here or is this cause for concern?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

  Press Windows + X on your keyboard.
  
• 
  Select Control panel.
  
• 
  Select language.
  
• 
  Click on Add language.
  
• 
  Add the Chinese language from the given list.

Fair enough and props to you. You and I along with anyone else who understands how to properly secure Windows 10, and Windows in general, are definitely in a minority. A growing minority, but still. I'd say this is the reason the chinese public are dubious of Windows 10.
