Windows 10: Chinese text showing up in random places; English is the defaul language

Hello all,


This is a strange one and it's difficult to search for help because of other common problems with displaying Chinese text.


A computer shows Chinese at seemingly random places. I will post screenshots below. English US is the only language in the computer's language settings. I tried installing the UK English pack and set it to that to test but nothing changed. Now it IS possible that at some point in the past Chinese was installed on here, but I don't see it now.


Most things are displaying properly in English, but when I look at the wifi adapter settings, for example, some of it is in Chinese. Please see pics for other examples.


Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you for the response and keeping the status updated.

I would suggest you, try removing Chinese language pack and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps.

• 
  Type Language in the search area on the taskbar and select
  Language.
  
• 
  Select the Chinese language and click on
  Move down (if it is on the top).
  
• 
  Click on Remove Option.

Change Language from Chinese to English

I bought a new computer with Windows 10 OS. But the System language is in Chinese. Can anyone suggest how to change the language to English?
