    Chkdsk "corruption was found while examining files in directory error


    Hello.I'm using a SanDisk USB drive and I was trying to transfer big files from online storage to a USB drive and during the process the error said "error 0x80070570 the file or directory". How can fix this issue and how can i transfer big files successfully.

    Corrupted file RAR

    If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:
    • Open WinRAR application in your system.
    • Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
    • A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
    • Now click Open button.
    • Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
    • Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
    • Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
    • Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
    • WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.
    I hope the above steps will help you repair the corrupted RAR archive.

    Windows corrupt file Chkdsk "corruption was found while examining files in directory error :p

    humm k, this thing is poping up on my taskbar.

    !(yellow triangle around it) Windows - Corrupt File

    The file or directory C:\windows\system32\msvcrt.dll is corrupt or unreadable. Please run the chkdsk utility.

    Well I ran the chkdsk in my windows 32 folder and the problem remains*Stick Out Tongue Chkdsk "corruption was found while examining files in directory error :p.

    Any help when someone has the spare time, is greatly apriciated.

    I have 4 of these errors, NTFS failed to mount the volume.

    Error: {Corrupt File}

    The file or directory %hs is corrupt and unreadable.

    Please run the Chkdsk utility.

    Volume GUID: {xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx}

    Volume Name:

    Guidance:

    The volume is recognized by NTFS but it is corrupted that NTFS could not mount it. Run

    CHKDSK /F to fix any errors on this volume, and then try accessing it.

    Not sure whats causing it, doesn't tell me the volume, but I only have the one drive

    with the recovery partition.
