Windows 10: chkdsk countdown loops once then doesnt start need help

i used the wedern digital diagnostic software and no problem was found but on my c drive under tools it says errors were found and it says run a chkdsk but when i try to run one it doesnt start it just does a 8 second countdown twice then just logs me in without the chkdsk running

CHKDSK automatically skips after the countdown and redirects to Logon Screen

I wanted to check my HD for any errors or bad sectors, but whenever I try it, it automatically skips after the countdown and redirects me to the login screen.

It first shows the countdown, then after the countdown reaches 0 it says "Scanning and Repairing C:\" and it hangs on there for 5 seconds and then skips the disk checking. I don't know if this relates to anything but in the Disk Fragmentation app, it says that
System Reserved needs optimization and it is 12% fragmented. I know that it doesn't need optimization, but could this be the reason why chkdsk isn't running?

 

laptop doesnt boot automatically

This is what happened.

1. Did a repair install and later disabled hibertnate in CMD.
2. Enabled legacy option ROM in BIOS.
3. After a few times startup ( i used the system in such mode for 5 days), changed boot option back to default.
4. Vola!! It boots automatically to win10 without any keypress. Tested it with many starts to confirm the same.
5. Re-enabled hibernate option using CMD and later selected Fast Startup.
6. System booted normally, without the need for any keypress.

I do not know exactly whether such steps resolved the problem or what else happened, hence cannot suggest above steps.

I already answered him that "Fix VSS Problems" doesnt fix the problem. What do you suggest?
