Windows 10: Chkdsk on ssd with realocated sectors, is it safe?

Discus and support Chkdsk on ssd with realocated sectors, is it safe? in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Can chkdsk /f /r hurt my failing ssd further?     Chkdsk on ssd with realocated sectors, is it safe?


    Can chkdsk /f /r hurt my failing ssd further? My ssd has a few realocated sectors but is running fine otherwise, windows is stable and only 2 sectors have been realocated in 20 hours of on time and 8 in totalI already started the scan and forgot to ask, it's on stage 4 at 50% anyway to cancel it if necessary/hurting it further

    CHKDSK /R Bad Sector check on windows 10 SSD

    I just ran a chkdsk /f /r to check for BAD sectors on my ssd but on restart chkdsk quicky went to 100%, and finished in about 2 seconds!

    Also some threads on the internet are saying that running chkdsk /r on an ssd can damage it? is this true?

    Does Windows 10 automatically detect an SSD and not run the bad sector check hence it runs quickly when you schedule the scan?
