Windows 10: Chkdsk on ssd with realocated sectors, is it safe?

Can chkdsk /f /r hurt my failing ssd further? My ssd has a few realocated sectors but is running fine otherwise, windows is stable and only 2 sectors have been realocated in 20 hours of on time and 8 in totalI already started the scan and forgot to ask, it's on stage 4 at 50% anyway to cancel it if necessary/hurting it further

CHKDSK /R Bad Sector check on windows 10 SSD

I just ran a chkdsk /f /r to check for BAD sectors on my ssd but on restart chkdsk quicky went to 100%, and finished in about 2 seconds!

Also some threads on the internet are saying that running chkdsk /r on an ssd can damage it? is this true?

Does Windows 10 automatically detect an SSD and not run the bad sector check hence it runs quickly when you schedule the scan?
