Windows 10: CHKDSK showing 00:00:999 time remaining, 2% complete after 24 hours

Discus and support CHKDSK showing 00:00:999 time remaining, 2% complete after 24 hours in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I booted up my PC recently and only saw a black screen.     CHKDSK showing 00:00:999 time remaining, 2% complete after 24 hours


    I booted up my PC recently and only saw a black screen. After restarting it CHKDSK began, it has only shown 00:00:999 time remaining but is progressing through files.I have a 3TB drive, a 2TB drive and an 128GB SSDAt the rate it's going, uncorrupting just the first drive will take 50 days.How can I get into Windows without corrupting my data?

    I STILL CANT OPEN MY DRIVE AFTER CHKDSK /R AND /F

    before i ask a question about to fix sudden lag occur to my laptop and try every step they suggest. at that time my drive still can be open but taking time.

    i chkdsk d: /r and chkdsk d: /f

    on command eta say 999:00:00 but i think almost 20-22 hours

    it say anything accept this thing:

    file verification completed.

    deleting orphan file record segment 892E8

    deleting orphan file record segment 8BB88

    deleting orphan file record segment 8BB89

    deleting orphan file record segment 8BB8A

    i hope my file can be save , almost has 1 tera of file in there

    I got as far as step 4, but was presented with

    I tried Universal Serial Bus Controllers, then MTP USB Device, which appears to have worked.

    Same here. We have two Ricoh printers and Windows Update insists on trying to download/install a Ricoh Printer driver:

    Fails every time. Would like to know a reason behind this and a solution.
