Windows 10: CHKDSK y/ r/ not giving monitor input after restart normal?

My disk usage was at 100% while downloading and I did a CHKDSK y/ r/ and did a restart. As soon as it restarted the monitor didn’t come back on is this normal for this command on windows 10?

If you run chkdsk /r using command prompt it will display:

and make sure the disk is unlocked.

If you run chkdsk /r using administrative command prompt it should display:

Type: Y

reboot

This may take many hours so plan to run overnight.

Another step that you do is by using the Check Disk tool also known as
chkdsk. It will scan your hard drive to find and fix problems. Below are the steps on how to run it:

• Press Windows key + X.
• Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type Chkdsk /r (if prompted if you want to schedule
  Check Disk on the next restart, type Y to acknowledge).
• Type shutdown /r to restart the computer.

Note: While performing chkdsk on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive when chkdsk tries to repair that sector if any data available on that might be lost.
