Windows 10: Chm help file link highlight doesn't clear

Hi everyone, I have a chm help file that has one link highlight from when a link is clicked that won't clear. Usually closing and re-opening will clear all previously highlighted links but this one doesn't. Renaming the file fixes the problem but then the help file can't be accessed from within the program it's associated with. Can anyone shed any light on this? Any help is greatly appreciated :-

Chm files should open in Windows 10 without any issue

Right click a chm file and choose Open with

Does Microsoft Help HTML Executable appear in the list?

If not, scroll down and click 'More Apps'

Again check for Microsoft Help HTML Executable, if that s not in the list, at the bottom, click 'Look for another app on this PC'

Navigate to find: C:\Windows\hh.exe

If that file does not exist, click the link below to download HTML Help Workshop and Documentation, which will contain hh.exe

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

any chm reader app for windows 8 / microsoft surface pro which allows better reading experience than default app which opens chm files..

like highlighting, marking paragra[hs and viewing in full screen etc...
