    Chrome and Brave browser lagging in Windows 11


    Hi there, I've been experiencing some performance issues with Google Chrome on my Windows 11 computer. Interestingly, when I run Chrome as an administrator, it seems to work smoothly without any lag. However, when I use it in my regular user account, it lags quite a bit. I've already tried enabling and disabling hardware acceleration, but it hasn't resolved the issue. Any ideas why this might be happening and how I can resolve it? I'd appreciate any insights or solutions you can provide. Thanks!

    Brave vs. Chrome

    I don't like Chrome either but I really like Brave and use it as my #1 browser.....I admit it could use a few upgrades but I'm all in for anything that is trying to protect my privacy.....And then my #2 browser is FF.

    Brave Browser Cause Windows 10/11 Shut down constantly / Black Screen

    My Surface Book 2 kept shutting down constantly. I was ready to throw the SB2 away. I had reinstalled Windows 10 several times in last 4 months. Finally I found out that Brave Browser was the culprit. And, I was right. After uninstalled Brave, Book 2 is now resume normal without shutting down every seconds. And, here what I found:

    Description of the issue: Brave browser keeps crashing after 10 secs or so
    How can this issue be reproduced?

    1. Keep using the browser
    2. It suddenly crashes after a few secs without any error message
    3. Open it up again and restore the previous tabs
    4. Crashes again within seconds

    Brave vs. Chrome

    My suggestion -

    Go with Firefox. I hate Chrome and Brave is meh.
