Windows 10: Chrome and Edge closes automatically after 20 - 30 seconds, but Mozilla works fine!

I run a Windows 10 HP laptop details below.
yesterday my chrome was crashing frequently and the reason mentioned was that the RAM is low, so i went about uninstalling a lot of apps and after that my PC was working fine.

But today afternoon, my chrome started closing itself automatically after every 20 seconds, same when I try edge as well. But fortunately Mozilla is working without issues.

I have uninstalled and installed Java again, I uninstalled, cleaned and reinstalled Chrome. I have cleared Temp files. Ran CC cleaner and removed residuals.

I have tried SFC via CMD as well. It said corrupt filed fixed.

Windows 10 Edge Problems - Will Not Access Sites Chrome and Mozilla Will - "Security Err" Prompt

I just installed Windows 10. Both Chrome and Edge would not access some common sites such as Bloomberg, various major airlines, my school, etc. Mozilla - no problems.

Then I tried the suggestion of resetting my clock by toggling back and forth on the various settings and then re-booting. Now Chrome is working just fine again and accessing all such common sites as those mentioned above.

But Edge still does not work properly. It will go to major news sites and such, but renders "security certificate error" with many sites that I know are just fine and can access via Chrome and Mozilla.

Should I delete and reload Edge?

Have you tried resetting your browser? If not, we suggest you to do so. To reset Edge, follow these steps:

  Go to
  Browser Settings.

  Clear
  Browser Data.
  
• 
  Close the browser and launch it again.
  

If the issue persist, follow these other steps:

• 
  Go to
  Task Manager.
  
• 
  Click on
  MicrosoftedgeCP.exe
  
• 
  End the task.

I have a brand-spanking new laptop, running Windows 10.

Microsoft Edge works, but ALL (!!) other browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera) work for maybe 20 seconds and then hang. I have tried everything, including a step that apparently worked for some: typing "netsh winsock reset" in the command line running it as
admin.

My friend tells me it is unneccessary to write out my current state of mind.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
