Windows 10: Chrome download "save as type" has the wrong name.

When I download a .mp4 file, it refers to the file type as "SeeMusic". This doesn't corrupt the file or damage the file in anyways, but it is annoying to see that instead of the default type. Is there a way to change this? I'm not sure if this is a Chrome downloader issue or a file explorer issue.

I suggest you to uninstall the application and download the setup files or install directly from Internet explorer by following the steps below:

• Open Internet explorer and type ‘www.google.com’ in the address bar.
• To will get a notification on the right side of the browser to download and install Google Chrome.
• Click on the notification and follow the prompts to download and install the Google Chrome application.

Chrome New Tab page wrong name

Do you use a lot of extensions? Is one related to URL's.

If you type chrome://about in the address bar you will get a listing. The new tab is chrome://newtab. You seem to be getting the raw URL instead of the shorten pretty name.

I don't see where this is set.

I've even uninstalled Chrome and deleted all the user stuff. Didn't work. It's a strange thing, if I hit home button (my home is new tab), it works fine.
