Windows 10: cirrus no audio device is installed

during the past few months has anyone come up with a fix for this problem that is not previously on this community. dell has not. they suggested i send back my vostro 3000 for a fix or replacement. i've yet to do so as its warranty does not expire until november. dellbelieves the problem is hardware. they already sent a tech to me to replace the speakers which was a fool's errand. needless to say i've tried everything detailed on this community and on the dell community. the internet is loaded complaints with the same unresolved problem.this problems started when i was still running 10 and di

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it fixes the issue.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key + X and click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall the Sound driver

I suggest you to try uninstall the Sound drivers check if it works for you.

Follow the steps to uninstall the Sound drivers:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand ‘Sound, Video and Game Controllers.
  
• Right-click on the Audio devices listed and click on ‘Uninstall’.
• Select the option to Delete driver software.
• Restart the computer after its uninstalled.

Try to access the device manufacturer's website and download and install the latest chipset and sound drivers.

I've tried every step that was suggested, still getting no audio output device installed.

 

Numerous audio devices - why?

Looks like you have audio drivers installed for your AMD card. If you don't use it, you should be able to just uninstall that aspect of AMD drivers. I don't use the Audio through my Nvidia card, so I just don't install that driver.

Or, just ignore them as you suggest.
