    Civilization 7 Lags When Playing and Crashes When I Meet The First Civ


    Played Civ 7 for about a month from release and it was working fine, had about a month on other games during which there were a couple of updates of Civ 7. Now when i start a game it really lags and crashes when I meet the first Civ.Spent a week going back and forth with 2K support, tried a list of things;Update graphic drivers and restart gameDisconnect controllers None usedUninstall Steam emulators Not UsedTroubleshooting for Steam - All files validatedTroubleshooting for Windows - repaired vcredist_x86.exe as well as vcredist_x64.exUpdated Audio and Video DriversOneDrive - unlinked

    Windows 10 Compatibility - Civ III

    Mr. Yaseer - Thanks for your reply. I tried what you suggested, selecting Windows 7 as the compatibility mode. After thus re-installing Civ III I still get the message, "Sign on as administrator and try again." (I
    am signed on as administrator!)

    I had no problem re-installing Windows 7 on that PC - but would like to again upgrade to Windows 10 if I can get past this issue with Civilization III.

    Who has had problem launching "Civilization" Buend Earth" after the Windows 10 upgrade/updates of November 6th, 2016?

    Steam Starts but when asked to start playing CIV the window just keeps recycling...

    I just upgraded to Windows 10 and find that Civilization III will not run under it. Anyone know 1) how to get Civ III to run under Win 10, or 2) How to go back to Windows 7?
