Windows 10: Clarifying the file management

I have a laptop using Windows 11. When I purchased it new, I didn't realize that providing my Microsoft account info would link me to the cloud as a default. That drove me crazy. I can't remember how I managed to make that stop. My problem is that right now, my documents are completely disorganized. I can never tell where things are being saved. I seem to have multiple DOCUMENTS and DOWNLOADS folders. I just want to consolidate so that I can be clear about where my root directory is and all my files are similarly associated. How do I establish a single file system on my hard drive? How

• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• Since when are you experiencing the issue?

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

There are no more files and ASUS Data Security Manager

I've been having the same issues trying to save files.

I followed all of the steps but ASUS Data Security Manager keeps reappearing. How do I really get it to delete? I've done the uninstall four times and it just pops back in the list.
