I can't open my video files. i keep getting " Class not registered"

    Hi Wilson,

It's possible that some system files got corrupted, causing the "Class not registered error that you're getting whenever you try opening video files. We'd like to learn more about your concern so that we could provide the proper resolution. We
just have a few questions for you:

    • Which version of Windows 10 is on your computer? To check, click
      Start
, type winver, and press Enter.

    • Which application are you using when you open videos?

    • Does this happen only to specific video file types, like MKV, or all video file types?

    • Did you make any changes to your computer before this started happening?

    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
