    Classic MS evil empire: I too HATE Windows 11 S mode on the new laptop.


    That S mode is irreversible. That i can't use my preferred AVS or browser. MS Edge stinks, I had long ignored it. That those of us who have been computing for decades, both at worksite workstations and our own PCs, recall when we had options and choices. Don't get me started on how Windows 10 snuck past me to DESTROY one of my previous laptops. I had to pay geeks to retrieve my files. MS Office apps like Word etc. are full of junky code -- had to wash text thru Notepad to do web development. MS Windows operating systems get released loaded with issues requiring various Service Pack remedies. M

    Classic MS evil empire: I too HATE Windows 11 S mode on the new laptop.

    Age of Empires Definitive Edition not loading

    So as the subject suggests i am unable to actually play this game on my Laptop, the specs on my laptop would be able to run it fine as i am able to play the other age of empires game perfectly. I have done the recent update for windows and followed the
    steps on another post ( i believe ) , i have also tried uninstalling and re-installing the game to no avail. If i could have some help that would be great cause it is such a great classic and wanted to play it again.
