Windows 10: Clean install of windows 11 on SSD current OS on HDD

I am planing to install a SSD in my laptop, which already has HDD. laptop support SSD and HDD together. The currest OS on the HDD and i want to do a fresh install on the SSD, Please can anyone write a step by step guide on what to do, i am not confident on this.

I just bought a dell 8950 with a hdd containing the windows 11 OS. I installed an ssd drive and initialized it. how do I install windows 11 OS on the ssd drive? Thanks for your suggestions

 

Windows 11 OS image restore from HDD to SSD

Hello Experts,

My laptop is currently running on Windows 11 (22H2, installed on HDD). I would like to upgrade to SSD.

Just to keep the process simple, I'm planning to...

1. Take Windows OS image backup (from HDD).

2. Install SSD drive.

3. Restore the image backup to the new SSD drive.

Since other h/w resources are going to be intact, I guess this approach should work. Is this approach possible or any road blocks? Did any of you try this please?

Please share your thoughts / suggestions.

W10 OS Clean Install on SSD

I'm currently wanting to install a 120GB SSD into my PC.

1) What I want to know is, will the OS on the HDD conflict with the one on the SSD after I do a clean install on it, and make it the boot disc?

All I want to use it for is the OS and the games I'm playing the most at the time.

2) Also, should I re-install graphics card drivers to the SSD as well or is that not necessary?

Aside from these two questions I assume, from reading similar questions and answers, that the remaining programs and files on the HDD should remain and be usable like usual. Would I be correct in this assumption?
