Windows 10: CLEAN INSTALLATION OF WINDOWS 10 ON UEFI BASED COMPUTER USING WINDOWS PE 10

For doing clean installation of windows 10 on seperate ssd or hdd on new computer using windows 10 PE


Go to bios , disable secure boot , disable uefi mode , enable legacy usb , enable CSM , save and exit.
Boot the computer with windows preinstallation environment bootable usb , created by you.
Insert another usb pendrive say F : which contains "install.wim" and "winre.wim "
for example F:\install.wim and F:\winre.wim



Directly command prompt will be displayed on screen
type DISKPART in cmd and press enter,

select disk 0
clean ( this command will completely wipes all datas and deletes existing partitions in the disk 0 )
convert gpt
create partition EFI size=260
format quick fs=fat32 label="System"
assign letter="S"
create partition MSR size=16
create partition primary size=204800
format quick fs=ntfs label="Windows_10"
assign letter="W"
create partition primary size=1024
format quick fs=ntfs label="Recovery"
assign letter="R"
set id="de94bba4-06d1-4d40-a16a-bfd50179d6ac"
gpt attributes=0x8000000000000001
list volume
exit



to get install.wim information stored in F:\install.wim

type below command


dism.exe /get-wiminfo /wimfile:F:\install.wim

note down the image information and note index no and replace the index:1 with your desired index

type below commands one by one and press enter


dism.exe /Apply-Image /ImageFile:F:\install.wim /Index:1 /ApplyDir:W:\

del /s /q W:\Windows\System32\Recovery\Winre.wim

md R:\Recovery\WindowsRE
copy F:\winre.wim R:\Recovery\WindowsRE\winre.wim
W:\Windows\System32\reagentc /setreimage /path R:\Recovery\WindowsRE /target W:\Windows

W:\Windows\System32\bcdboot W:\Windows /s S:



type exit click shotdown

remove the usb pendrive and power on computer

wiat for few minutes to complete windows installation

Clean Windows 10 (?PRO?) install

I have bought a legit "Windows 10 Pro" key of a key website. It is legit since i'm currently using it for over a year now. I currently have Windows 10 Pro installed on my PC and I want to do a clean install. I just can't find the windows 10 Pro download in the tool. But if i could use a windows 10 pro key with a normal windows 10 install, I'll be good to go.

 

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
