    I know that when you uninstall programs in Windows 10 there are often remnants of the programs left behind in various areas of the operating system. Can anyone recommend a program that will aid in ensuring that all of the remaining fragments of a program that has been uninstalled are actually removed so that there is a clean removal? Thanks in advance.

    Apps/Programs removed during clean install

    I’m considering using the MS Defender Fresh Start to install a clean copy of Windows. What’s the easiest (best?) way to get a list of all the apps and other installed programs which will need to be reinstalled? Seems like there should be an easier way than
    manually comparing a screen shot of the CPL Programs and Features list from before and after (which is the only idea I've come up with). Thanks for any tips or suggestions.

    My pc takes for ever to shut down when i restart

    Suggest cleaning up your startup list .There may be many services / Apps you can remove on startup which is not needed on boot or during shutdown.
    Before you shutdown the Pc check what is running in Task Manager as a program or service in not killing the process on shutdown

    Would suggest cleaning up running apps and services -Autoruns, StartupMonitor,HighjackThis,
    Malware Scan - Malwarebytes,ADWcleaner, Combofix
