    Clean Winsxs


    My previous update is on May 4th. I updated Windows update on May 15th. Is after analyze component store recommended yes to start component cleanup on June 3rd? I want to get May 4th update removed. May 4th to June 3rd is 30 days but I updated on May 15th. I hope after analyze component cleanup will recommended say yes.

    The WinSxS is required, so do not try and delete it, i have seen many posts suggesting this.

    There is information about running a scheduled task to clean up this please refer to Clean Up the WinSxS Folder

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
