Windows 10: Clear Type Text Tuner!

Hi again, if I use this app, and set it to my liking, it doesn't seem to hold the settings! When I say doesn't seem to hold it, I mean the highlighted boxes have changed when I use it again!!I run as an Administrator!Is that normal?Maybe it just reverts to default!Brian Windows 10 22H2

Windows Fonts De-Uglification Clear type text enhancer

Hi there
Nothing to do with incorrect video driver but after latest update some of my Windows texts were looking horribly jagged etc.

However this might be a good suggestion for people having similar issues --there's a built in text enhancer

type Clear Type on your menu then simply follow the instructions --worked a treat for me.





Hope this is of use to some -- it's not always video drivers causing the problem.

Faded text on start screen and apps.

Thank you for posting back with the details.

I suggest that you launch the ClearType text tuner and adjust the display.

To run this command please refer the following TechNet article and follow the suggestions.

• To get to the ClearType take an entry to the
  Control Panel and select the Display option.
• On the right pane of the Display window click on
  Adjust ClearType Text link.
• A ClearType Text Tuner window will appear on your screen. Select the
  checkbox Turn on ClearType and click
  Next button to go to the next step
• After turning on the ClearType
  Text Tuner, you will see five windows exhibiting the samples of the text that you wish to set.
• So click Next on the following five sample windows by selecting your required text type.

On the Start Menu, type Clear type and open "Adjust Clear Type text".

On the Clear Type Text Tuner, do all steps until complete.
