Windows 10: Click n run Office365 => retail OEM 2016 wu error

I mean when I have the update buttons in Office, are those buttons supposed to be on click to run or on retail OEM versions of Office or on both versions?

By the way, the way to describe what you have is that it was bought outright. Then people will know it is not an Office 365 subscription.

• Describing it as retail OEM is a contradiction in terms.
  • Retail would describe a full licence you bought separately and for which you had the right to remove it & reinstall it on another computer if you wanted.
  • OEM would normally be used to describe a licence that you had received for software that had been pre-installed by the computer maker with limited rights to use it only on their computer [so that you were not allowed to remove it and install on another computer instead].

Yes, my mistake. It's OEM that I have, installed on one computer and tied to mobo.
