When you use an external monitor and click the Start menu icon on the external monitor, the Search box starts to flicker and Explorer will go unresponsive. Clicking the Start menu on the laptop does not cause the same behaviour. I recently had to replace my laptop and was glad to see this problem did not occur. However, there were some Windows updates available, and after installing those, the same issue now occurs on the new laptop. So something in a recent update appears to have caused this.

    :)

  3. Windows 10 Start menu issue

yeah I've been less than happy with the start menu also.
for me I for me I get freezes in start menu, especialy returning from sleep...which reminds me sleep is such a pain in the butt since I switch to Windows 10. Either waking up on its own, or system freezes when recovering from sleep

Stardock was a nice switch from vanilla, but i wasnt gonna buy it and 30 days goes by quick.
