Windows 10: Clicking any settings type related like "Personalized" resulted a split second opened CMD...

and I caught and the directory is"C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\cvtres.exe" and sometimes some app cannot work anyone can help?

We suggest that you follow the steps below to put your settings back to default and see if it helps.

• Right-click your mouse on your desktop.
• Click on Personalize.
• Select Colors.
• Click on High contrast settings.
• From the drop-down menu, select None.
• Click Apply.
• Reboot the PC for the changes to take effect.

The settings button in the start menu when clicked doesnot open, its like as i click it opens and disappears

Sorry for the delay in reply.

You may try the following steps:

• Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press CTRL+Shift+ESC.
• Click File > Run New Task
• Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”
  
• Type CMD
• Type the following 4 commands at the CMD prompt:
  
  dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
  
  sfc /scannow
  
  powershell
  
  Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
  
• Close the CMD window

Check to see if the issue is resolved. If not, restart the PC.

When I right click on my desktop and go Display Settings or Personalize I get CMD for one second and nothing opens?

I am having an Error on my Windows 10 Enterprise 2004, when I right click on my Desktop and then go Display Settings or Personalize, CMD opens for one second and then nothing opens. Can someone help me to fix this error? To change my Theme or Wallpaper I
have to go through Settings - Personalization...
