  2. Help: Click clock to view calendar on dual screens no longer working on both screens

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

It sounds like the calendar pop-up behavior is not consistent across your dual screens. This could be due to the display settings or the way the taskbar is configured on each screen. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Check Display Settings: Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings." Make sure that both screens are set to extend the display and not duplicate it. This will ensure that both screens are treated as separate entities by the operating system.
    2. Taskbar Settings: Right-click on the taskbar and go to "Taskbar settings." Scroll down to the "Multiple displays" section and make sure that "Show taskbar on all displays" is turned on. This should ensure that the taskbar and its associated features, like the calendar pop-up, are consistent across all screens.
    3. Restart Windows Explorer: Sometimes, issues with the taskbar can be resolved by restarting the Windows Explorer process. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager, locate "Windows Explorer" under the "Processes" tab, right-click it, and select "Restart."
    4. Update Graphics Drivers: Outdated graphics drivers can sometimes cause display-related issues. Check for updates for your graphics card and install them if available.
    5. Third-Party Software: If you are using any third-party software for managing multiple displays, make sure that it is configured to allow the calendar pop-up to appear on both screens.
After trying these steps, see if the issue persists. If it does, it might be worth reaching out to your organization's IT support for further assistance, as there could be specific settings or policies in place that are affecting the behavior of the taskbar and calendar pop-up.

    Best regards

Clicking Calendar and Time on Taskbar from Multiple Screens

    taskbar on multiple screens (XP)

Hi, at work we use three screens, with XP installed, on the PC i was using before it had the taskbar on just the left screen and when i maximised a window it would fill whatever screen the window was currently on. The pc i now use, has a task bar stretched across the three screens and when i maximise something it will automatically fill the left screen. Is there a way to change either of these things as i prefer the taskbar on the left screen and to maximise on the screen the window is in. Thanks
