Windows 10: Clicking image from Quick access brings image up , but then it disappears

Please help me, this didn't used to happen but very recently whenever I click an image to view from quick access/recent files, the image will come up for a few brief seconds then it will disappear to black and say "there's nothing to show here".If I click the image again it will come up and stay, but still most of the time clicking it from recent files the first time will cause it to disappear for some reason.I've tried reinstalling windows app photos and resting quick access but nothing works, P.s when it was working the Microsoft photos had a blue theme, but it randomly changed to a black th

Remove items from Quick access.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

• Right click on the file or folder.
• Select the option “unpin from the quick access”

To pin items to an item already on the quick access bar.

Follow the below steps.

I would suggest you to create folder in the desktop screen & place all the files or folder which need to pin to the quick access.

• Open the quick access.
• Select the Desktop option.
• Right click on the folder & select the option “pin to quick access”

Macrium right click image>Restore brings up create image dialog

I have more machines than I have licences, so I have Free on few of them, all machines are on the current v7.3.5854. My Free version also brings up the restore dialog the first time I tried.

Note that when you choose to restore an image when right-clicking on it, then first Macrium opens as normal at the Backup tab, then the restore window pops up on top of that as a second window. It's this second step that seems to be failing for you.


Reinstalling is a very good suggestion. All your settings and backup definitions will be retained.

 

Quick Access - "Location is not available"

I solved the problem without following steps 1, 2, and 3. The solution is stupidly simple and it doesn't make any difference as to whether the problem item in the Quick Access list is pinned or unpinned.

1. Create the folder in the same path where Quick Access reported it to be unlocatable. The folder will be empty.

2. Delete the folder you just created. The Quick Access item that WAS listed in Quick Access disappears!!

Note that #2 does not remove or delete the item from Quick Access. It deletes the empty folder you just created *from the machine* (i.e., it goes to the Recycle bin) and as a consequence of the deletion, it disappears from the Quick Access list.
