Windows 10: Clicking signin on onedrive does nothing

HI all,I've been having issues lately with the OneDrive sync install for windows 10.The OneDrive app is installed and i want to sign the user into OneDrive. So I click the OneDrive cloud in the system tray, then click "Sign in". Then the OneDrive window closes and nothing happens.This has happened before and i found a work around by signing into OneDrive online and syncing from there. But in this particular case it works.If i log into another windows account on the machine then OneDrive works fine. But i would like at avoid rebuilding their accounts every time this happens.This is the troubles

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

You say you can log into OneDrive in a web browser at:
https://onedrive.live.com/about/signin/ is that correct?

If so, what happens if you try to simply drag a file or folder into the OneDrive window ?

 

OneDrive account signin

I changed my Microsoft username and OneDrive kept asking for my old username. I was able to change the "account" on OneDrive, however, when attempting to signin, nothing happens and OneDrive will not start.
