    Clipboard between host and Hyper-V guest not working


    I enabled Hyper-V and installed Windows XP (for very old apps).

    Everything seemed to be fine until I realize that I cannot transfer files between the host and the guest using clipboard!

    Any idea?

    Shared clipboard between Hyper-V VM and Win 10 host

    Enhanced Mode supports fully integrated, bidirectional (host to guest, guest to host) clipboard. It is enabled by default:

    Clicking More shows more options. For instance, you can select all host drives to be shown on guest File Explorer:

    … or select which host drives will be shown on guest:

    Selected drives can be directly accessed from guest:

    Enhanced Mode requires guest OS to be Windows Server 2012 R2 or later, or Windows 8.1 or later on Generation 2 virtual machines, Windows 10 Pro, Education or Enterprise guest OS on Generation 1 virtual machines.
