Clipboard fails and only saves first 2 lines from a larger text, as if it has limited caché memory. see imagesBut saves well a screenshot images created with same computer as screenshots, works wellI have tried with system settings, adjusting memory limits on resources advanced options. But it tells me to restart computer to apply changes, and when Windows starts again it does not keep my manual given values. It is set again by system and limited to 16MB

Inserting text with hotkey saves it to clipboard




I use Hotkeyp for hotkeys. Here's a shot of the setup window. To my knowledge no copy action is done by the program unless I specify it in the Macro Parameters slot. I tried with Autohotkey and the results are the same. I do have MS Office installed but not running constantly.

I use a desktop gadget (Clipboarder) which displays previous clips. Each can be dismissed with a mouse click and that's what I'm doing. It's a potential security problem if personal data are saved to the clipboard every time they are invoked.

In Windows a second inserted item doesn't replace the first (saved) one, so Ctl-V will still insert the first item.

Assume I want the following text back in order Code:

I do three Ctrl/Cs, a line at a time
followed by three Win/V clicks in the order they are presented
Using NOTEPAD, all works just as expected Code:

But when I do the same in the VB Editor this is what I see when I press Win + V




Can the clipboard viewer be made to show the plain text when the active window belongs to the Excel or Word VBA Editor?
