Windows 10: Clipboard history blanked out but still works normally

    Clipboard history blanked out but still works normally


    Opening up the clipboard history by pressing Window + V gives me a blank panel, but the feature works just as fine, that there's no color other than white.I saw some posts with the same issue, but most of them are fixed by updating Windows 11, didn't work for me. Hope someone can give me some feedback, this affects my mood more than it should. Thank you.

    Thanks for the suggestion but as I expected it did not make any difference (I use Restart Explorer.exe quite often). So I still have not got Clipboard History back. Sometimes I get the popup saying a Clip has been added, but the Window remains blank.

    Clipboard History still will not work

    I know some other users have had this problem but nothing I have read has cured it for me yet, including the reg edit suggested on this site --- have activated (ie. merged) this correctly. If my memory is correct I could not get the History before the May / July update so that is not the culprit. When I click Win+V all I get is the empty Clipboard History window. And by 'history' I mean the most recent Clips as well as earlier ones. Current clips are saved buy two third party apps, fortunately, so the Copy function does actually work, it is specifically Windows Clipboard History with the most recent addition to the Board which is kaput.

    I found the History useful and am at a loss to know what to do to get it back.
