Windows 10: Clipboard history freezes for about 30 seconds after boot, then works fine

I have formatted my PC and installed the new 20H2 version and am now having actually a few issues...


I use clipbpard history everyday for work. I have pinned text in it.

Everytime I boot the system and press Start+V the clipboard's "silhouette" appears for about half a minute, frozen and cannot be closed or interacted with in any way. Then it disappears.

Then when I press Start+V again and it appears normally and works fine.


This happens everytime after I turn on the PC.

This might be related to another Issue I am having when right-clicking items in Windows Explorer and desktop. The context menu does not appear for 2 seconds after I right-click... Very slow.

I have tried many solutions for the slow context menu regedit fixes and ShellExView and did not get any results.

For the frozen clipboard I did not find any solutions online.

Clipboard delay to appear in the clipboard history

Hello, i'm using windows 10 with the feature clipboard activated but, after copy something it delays to appear in my clipboard history. (several 15, 30 seconds - in certain cases 1 minute or more).

Scope: I'm using two versions of Windows 10 Enterprise (1809 and 1909) with a pre made corporate OS image with GPOs so is not a "clean" version of Windows 10.

I don't know why this happens like this because, in my personal windows machine i do not have any problem related, my history works fine and very fast.

Clipboard History still will not work

I know some other users have had this problem but nothing I have read has cured it for me yet, including the reg edit suggested on this site --- have activated (ie. merged) this correctly. If my memory is correct I could not get the History before the May / July update so that is not the culprit. When I click Win+V all I get is the empty Clipboard History window. And by 'history' I mean the most recent Clips as well as earlier ones. Current clips are saved buy two third party apps, fortunately, so the Copy function does actually work, it is specifically Windows Clipboard History with the most recent addition to the Board which is kaput.

I found the History useful and am at a loss to know what to do to get it back.
