Windows 10: Clipboard History not working after upgrade to Windows 11 Home

Clipboard History not working after upgrade to Windows 11 Home.I have tried all of the suggested fixes - - Restarted, downloaded/installed all available updates, restarted.- Allow Clipboard History is "ON" in Settings- Cleared clipboard history- Task Manager, restarted Windows Explorer- Registry Edit as suggested, rechecked multiple times, referred to multiple articles and YouTube videos. Restarted.Windows Home edition, so Group Policy editor is not applicable I checked to be sure, it IS Home edition, and GPedit does not exist on this computer.What else?

Clipboard History still will not work

I know some other users have had this problem but nothing I have read has cured it for me yet, including the reg edit suggested on this site --- have activated (ie. merged) this correctly. If my memory is correct I could not get the History before the May / July update so that is not the culprit. When I click Win+V all I get is the empty Clipboard History window. And by 'history' I mean the most recent Clips as well as earlier ones. Current clips are saved buy two third party apps, fortunately, so the Copy function does actually work, it is specifically Windows Clipboard History with the most recent addition to the Board which is kaput.

I found the History useful and am at a loss to know what to do to get it back.

Clipboard History still will not work

I don't believe you've yet tried created a new user for test purposes as I suggested. (post #4). That would distinguish between
a. A user profile problem
b. General Windows corruption

If clipboard history works with a new user, then the problem is specific to the existing user, and an in-place upgrade repair install would not be relevant. Otherwise, it would.

System restore: Note that using a restore point is well known to be unreliable. Trying to restore using one will do no harm, but many find it fails to complete and leaves the system unchanged. I.e. do not solely depend on this.

You can export (back up) registry keys you are about to change, of course, or the whole registry.

You can delete user accounts of course.
