Windows 10: Clipboard history not working on MS Word

I need help with clipboard history on Windows 11. I have a Surface Laptop 7 with the Snapdragon X Elite. For the last day, any text I copy from any MS Word document does not reflect in the clipboard history.The actual text is getting copied and I'm able to paste it. It's just that it doesn't appear when I press Windows+V.Clipboard history works everywhere else - Excel, PowerPoint, Edge, screenshots, heck even cross device clipboard sync via phone link seems to be fine.I've tried disabling & re-enabling after a restart clipboard history, but it didn't help. Any help to diagnose and fix th

clipboard history not working after windows update, in some thread I notices that need to check internal windows Clipboard service, but there is not in the windows services list. I paid money for purchase official windows, and this is what it get. No Clipboard history - not working clipboard, not working Alt Shift S

 

Clipboard history even when history is turned off?

"the clipboard function in the system and the clipboard in Word are not the same and do not affect each other, they are relatively independent." Ah, that explains a lot. Yet why MS would introduce two clipboards that catch everything (the word clipboard - or better the office clipboard- also catches everything even when no office software is open) is a mystery to me. But somehow typical for MS.

"when you close the clipboard history in the system, the panel is empty after Windows+V which is not normal" Why not? Pressing Windows+V always give an empty clipboard on my system. If I set Clipboard history off in setting I would expect just that.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I applied option 3 from the aforementioned link, I downloaded the script to Turn on the clipboard history, followed the steps in the document, after successful completion, I rebooted my system, and alas it didn't prompt me with a clipboard history window when I pressed Windows-Key + V from inside a word document (the window that I used to get in Windows 10).

I tried option 4 in the aforementioned document, upon running the gpedit.msc command, system prompted me "Window cannot find gpedit.msc. Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again."

Any insight?
