Windows 10: Clipboard history stopped working

I have been a big user of the clipboard history in Windows 10, but a few days ago it simply stopped working.I have not found anyone with the exact same problem as me.I am still able to access the clipboard history, but I am not able to paste anything.Normal copy/paste works just fineWin+V brings up the clipboard history just fineI can scroll through the options with the arrow keys just fineHitting enter makes the window disappear but nothing is pastedClicking on an option with the mouse also does not workI have tried this with text and images in a variety of different settings text editors/br

Clipboard history not working after windows update

clipboard history not working after windows update, in some thread I notices that need to check internal windows Clipboard service, but there is not in the windows services list. I paid money for purchase official windows, and this is what it get. No Clipboard history - not working clipboard, not working Alt Shift S

 

Win 10 Clipboard History Stopped Working

Hi,

I recently upgraded to 1809, everything was fine for a couple of days, then the clipboard history feature suddenly stopped working.
When I go into settings to switch it on, it seems to be enabled, however once I close the window or choose something else and navigate back, the radio button is back to disabled.
Also worth mentioning:
- Get Started button (for sync across devices) does nothing
- Clear clipboard data crashes the whole Win Settings window
- Tried sfc /scannow, nothing changed

Any suggestions please?
I was really excited to get rid of third party software for this, but I really don't want to format the whole thing for a stupid bug.

Clipboard History still will not work

I know some other users have had this problem but nothing I have read has cured it for me yet, including the reg edit suggested on this site --- have activated (ie. merged) this correctly. If my memory is correct I could not get the History before the May / July update so that is not the culprit. When I click Win+V all I get is the empty Clipboard History window. And by 'history' I mean the most recent Clips as well as earlier ones. Current clips are saved buy two third party apps, fortunately, so the Copy function does actually work, it is specifically Windows Clipboard History with the most recent addition to the Board which is kaput.

I found the History useful and am at a loss to know what to do to get it back.
