Windows 10: Clipboard is no longer synching what I copy with my Android device

It has been a few weeks, I can no longer synchronize the texts I copy on my computer with my smartphone. The process was quite simple before, I would press Win + V, and click on "Sync" to synchronize what I wanted, and it would gracefully appear on the Clipboard of Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard.But now it has stopped working, and I can't find a clue as to why. I already tried installing the app again, to no avail. Now, the only way it works is linking my phone with Phone Link and enabling the option to sync across devices, but I would much prefer to not link it and have it manually synchronized.

When will the Sync Clipboard with PC and Android come to SwiftKey?

I see that you are using SwiftKey Beta keyboard on your Android phone and looking for the feature to sync the clipboard between the PC and Android phone.



Currently, the feature to sync the clipboard with Windows 10 and Android using SwiftKey keyboard is not available. However, you can sync the Windows 10 clipboard across your devices using the Microsoft account. Please refer the steps in the article

To Backup & sync the words and phrases of your SwiftKey keyboard, you can sign in to the SwiftKey keyboard and enable the sync feature. Please refer the article

Copy/paste Across devices

Thank you, I saw a blurb in October that that feature was in beta in Swiftkey on Android. Must still be in development.

Does hibernate save windows clipboard copy file ?

The clipboard is NOT a file. It holds its data in memory.

The clipboard data does survive a hibernation.

You could easily answer the question yourself like so:

1. Press PrtSc
2. Hibernate
3. Return from hibernation
4. Open Word
5. Press Ctrl+V to paste the clipboard's contents.
