Windows 10: CLIPCHAMP now glitch city trash we PAY FOR

Idk what the hades happened since 2024. But ClipChamp has become unusable, when it used to be a decent budget friendly editor.Literally every Short I've tried editing now either skips in places or suddenly glitches after prolonged use 3-4hrs. the time it reasonably takes to editWe PAY for this, and it's no longer working. Not right, Microsoft. You happily take my $12/mo. then abandon a decent editing software with lame ? ticket option that requires 24hr. response BS. Well I am done. Should've kept Movie Maker, but I guess even that program wasn't good enough for you either. Users n

Clipchamp not working.

If you’re encountering issues, here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:

1. End Task and Relaunch:
   
   • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager.
     
   • In the Processes tab, right-click on Clipchamp and select End task.
     
2. Repair or Reset:
   
   • Go to Settings (press Win + I) and choose Apps.
     
   • Find and click on Clipchamp, then select Advanced options.
     
3. Close Unnecessary Programs:
   
   • Close any other unnecessary programs on your PC that might interfere with Clipchamp’s performance.
     
4. Try using another device:
   
   • Try using another device and check if the issue persists.
     

Give these steps a try, and hopefully, Clipchamp will be up and running smoothly again! I hope it helps!

"Edit With Clipchamp" and Open With Clipchamp no longer properly open the piece of media in Clipchamp

I understand that you are unable to open media files in Clipchamp, based on your description, it seems that you have also tried some options, very much agree with your troubleshooting solution, in order to better help you, I would like to know more about it with you:

• In order to help you better, I'd like to know more about it. What is the format of the media file you tried to open?
  
• Does Clipchamp give you any error messages or prompts when you try to open a file via File Explorer or when you open a media file?
  
• Do you have any other video editing software installed that may be affecting file associations?
  

Based on your description it seems that you are using the client version of Clipchamp, (if my understanding is wrong, you are welcome to correct me at any time) we suggest that you try to log in with the web version of Clipchamp first to see if you are able to open the files:Quick and easy video editor | Clipchamp
