Windows 10: clipchamp says i need the internet, when I try to run it - yet i have the internet - how...

if i click the send feed back button i get the same error code - 0x800704cf - I got the same error from the Microsoft store until I logged in manually but still get it clipchamp and the send feedback option, even though I am logged in - have tried all Microsoft suggested fixes to no avail - it is broken and i consider this software no longer fit for purpose and this is a major quality failure

OneNote 2016 says no internet

Hello, OneNote 2016 claims not to have access to the Internet. OneNote is not rendering videos when the YouTube URL is pasted into OneNote. It wasn't until I tried Insert > Online Video when I saw this message: "Check your internet connection and try inserting the video again."

Steps taken to remediate:

1. Check for updates; none.
2. Checked Firewall; OneNote is allowed both Inbound & Outbound traffic.
3. Run full system Disk Cleanup; NO GO
4. Checked for OS corruption; none
5. Restarted System; No Go
6. Uninstalled/Installed Office; NO GO

I've seen a few threads related to this issue, but no resolutions. I saw one mentioning an HKCU Reg Key, but that key didn't exist on my system. Anyone else seen this or know what's causing this feature failure? Thanks, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations v21H2 (up to date)

• Press “Windows Key” + “R”.
• Type “inetcpl.cpl”.
• Go to Connection.
• Click on LAN Settings.
• Check the box which says Automatically detect settings.
• Uncheck the box under Proxy server.

Run Internet Connection Troubleshooter

Though you are able to use internet, there could be some problems or some settings which could have stopped Windows services to connect to the internet.

I suggest you to run the Internet connection troubleshooter to fix such issues, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R
• Type Control
• Click on Troubleshooting
• Click on Connect to the internet
• Click on Next and follow the On-screen instructions
