Windows 10: Clock and network options not sizing correctly on taskbar

Just installed windows 11, and I've came across an issue where certain taskbar elements don't size correctly. I used registry editor to decrease the size of the taskbar, but these don't seem to be affected.Default Size 1ecreased Size 0Is there any solution for this?

System Icons on taskbar

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

Clock and date on Taskbar missing

My clock and date disappeared from the taskbar in windows 10. After trying various suggestions, none of which worked, but this did work for me:

Right click on an empty space on the taskbar,

Click settings

In the option "Move Taskbar" move it to right or top of the screen and the clock reappears, when I returned the taskbar back to the bottom, the clock and date was still visible.

Obviously a Microsoft Glitch, in the windows 10 Anniversary update. I haven't restarted my PC since, so will be interesting to see if the clock remains there.

I have the same problem with font-size in the taskbar-clock display, and I'm still using Windows 8.1 (I'm not going to move to Windows 10 until there's no other choice!)

The text displayed when hovering over the clock used to be a fairly readable 9pt or so font, until yesterday. Then Windows Update grabbed a whole bunch of "Optional Updates". After these updates were installed, the font size is barely readable, somewhere
around 5pt.

And before anyone asks, yes I did check the "More Information" KB articles about each of the updates before installing them. None of them gave any hint of messing around with font size for the taskbar clock...
