    CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT problem

It been happening allot and its really common. It started when I downloaded throttlestop to underclock my CPU, it wasn't working so I deleted it and the configuration is still happening where it crashed and say CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT. I downloaded throttlesop to reset it but it locked me out of it. This happened in 2023 and its 2024 and am living with it. I cant play heavy and light games or else it will crash. Sometimes it would crash even if am just browsing. I really need to fix this since its SUPER annoying. My pc specs are:windows10intel core i5 11400hnvidia rtx 3050 laptop16 gb ramhere

    :)

CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT After Leaving PC for 5-10 Minutes

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
    2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window.

The 0x101(CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT) is mostly caused by BIOS or hardware problem, the challenge is to find software problems.
I suggest to update your BIOS.
    Code:
    Code:
BIOS Version: American Megatrends Inc. 2001 , 7/8/2011
    Attachment 51031

    CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT problem

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
