Windows 10: Clone failed error 0- Unable to match partition

Hi there, currently iam trying to migrate my os from my hdd to SSD . But after trying sever times it shows clone failed error 0.Have tried several methods ,watch YouTube videos but it didn't work.What can be the issue can someone guide me?

Cannot clone HDD(System drive) to SSD

I tried to clone my HDD drive to brand new SSD drive by using Macrium Rreflect.

During the cloning it requested access to new drive(SSD) and it failed.. Afterwards the message "unable to match partition - Drive 0, Start Sector 50620416 - MFT corrupt" appeared. After own a disk to current user to gain access it still cannot access to disk while cloning.

I tried to fix disk bad partitions by chkdsk but it shows no errors and bad partitions.

I really can't figure out how to solve it. Would be really grateful for some peace of advice.

 

Failing HDD and Cloning

Programs like Tera Copy can be useful for such tasks since they provide faster copying and they have a list of processed files. If it fails, you know instantly what file failed and you can also resume or restart file copy/move operations. Tera Copy is a free program so give it a try.

Cloning is for drives that are in perfect mechanical/electronic condition but have a corrupted partition or parasitic virus infection. You clone the drive and then you can repeatedly perform data salvaging tasks without the risk of degrading data and making it unrecoverable forever. If recovering fails, you just restore the drive and start all over.

Something you can't afford on failing drives, because they will interrupt the data cloning process. And when it fails, you have to do it all over again.

 

Cloned disk unable to boot

Something is very strange. From disk manager image The drive 1 EFI partition is nº2

And from diskpart image The EFI partition is nº1

My suggestion is to clean the 1T drive and clone it again. To clean the drive, open a CMD window as administrator and type: diskpart list disk (it will list all drives. Identify the 1T drive number) select disk n (replace n by the 1T drive number obtained with list disk) clean convert GPT Exit
