Windows 10: Clone SSD & switch boot drive: winload.efi error

Any wisdom to share, please?PC is working fine, in old partition I have access to both partitions but can boot from old SSD only. New SSD Cloned C drive to clonezilla After turning new partition online & solving disk collison error Boot fails. F8 start recovery not work. Blue screen "required device isnt connected or cant be accessed windows\system32\winload.efi" Turn off safe boot & CSM on Can I boot into new SSD? It seemed I could boot override successfully into new SSD but this was broken by D/C old SDD, no boot was successful. "0x000000e windows\system32\winload.efi" - Boot

hi my acer swift ryzen laptop completly crashed the weekend with the winload efi error .

ive gone into bios and disabled secure boot in uefi but no result . Ive managed to download windows 10 on usb drive and set it up in bios to boot from that drive however i still get the same blue window as before even tho the usb is top of the boot list.
I want to go into advanced options but it doesnt appear on the blue screen and now mot sure what to do . Any help would be great , i dont want to wipe the machine if possible

 

Moving to SSD. Clone or not to clone?

Part of how I keep my SSD fast is to clone it to a platter drive, then clone back. You just want to make sure that you are only cloning teh used space, and not the empty space.


So, again, I isntall Windows to the ssd. Clone to platter drive, then clone back.

I am not sure why, but if I do not do the clone step, the drive's speed, and windows booting, decreases substantially within a week or so.

I am using a Corsair F60 SSD and a Western Digital 500AAKS as drives, and using the free version of Acronis that WD provides, if any of that matters. I am not sure, at this point.
