Windows 10: Cloned Laptop HDD to bigger SSD and can't use additional memory of SSD

Hello, I bought a new 1TB SSD for the Medion P6634 and cloned the old 500GB HDD with clonezilla. Everything works fine as long as i clone the old HDD 1:1 and do not try to use the setting in clonezilla to directly make use of the additional capacity of the SSD to enlarge partitions proportional to new space on the SSD. Also afterwards as soon as I try add the not allocated space with acronis partition tool and add it to a partition or make a new one the laptop does not start anymore afterwards. And by that I mean that there is no signal at all to the monitor - can't even access bios. Any id

Clone HDD to a SSD

I'm planing to upgrade my new laptop HDD to SSD while using my HDD as a storage media on my laptop. My laptop came with windows 10 Home OEM. If I cloned the HDD will the windows be activated after I
cloned or will it be deactivated?? And what happend to other activated softwares like MS Office and Antivirus Softwares???

If you clone HDD to SSD and replace old HDD with that new SSD in same laptop it will remain activated..

I don't understand why you changed the boot order in your BIOS.

When you image or clone an HDD, and restore the image or clone to an SSD, you've got an identical copy of your computer on a different hard drive. Nothing has changed, really. So the next step is to remove the HDD from your computer and replace it with the
SSD, then carry on as normal.
