Windows 10: close inactive work account

How do I close a Microsoft account that is no longer accessible from an old employer

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

MoneyPoint: inactive accounts

I use MoneyPoint on my Windows 10 PC. I wonder if I could hide inactive accounts that are greyed out. I don’t want to see them listed at all. Thank you

 

Account closing

Note: There are 2 reasons why MS Account will be closed, first is if you have requested to close or delete it and the second one is your account was closed because of inactivity. For more info about it, please check the link below:
