Windows 10: close microsoft account as email is deleted

Having real problems closing an old Microsoft account. The email address that it it on has been closed by the email provider and I cannot get into it. When I try to close the account it insists that I must input the password for this account and I cannot do that as I don't have the password any more and even if I found it the account is deleted.

I have opened a new account and when I click 'Manage' on the old account it simply transfers me to the new account.

The problem is that when I want to use the microsoft store to download anything it insists that I use the password for the old account.


Please someone, how to I completely delete this old account from my PC????

2. Is your Windows 10 associated with this email account?
   

I would suggest you to login to
http://login.live.com/ with the email account that is deleted to check if you are able to login and if the account is still active under Microsoft.

If you are able to login with your account and you wish to close the Microsoft account, you can follow the steps in this article on ‘How

Don't think you can if they were deleted from your email account and are not in your trash folder. Try contacting Yahoo, explain what happened, and see what they can do or suggest you do.

1. Could you please let us know where exactly you are getting the error message?
   
2. Are you using Microsoft or local account to login to Windows?
   
3. If Microsoft account, may I know which Microsoft account are you using to login to Windows
   

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to unlink your Microsoft business account from Gmail Microsoft account (If Microsoft Business account is linked to Gmail account).

1. Log on to primary
   Microsoft account (Gmail).
   
2. Go to Your Info > Contact Info.
   
3. Click on Manage email address.
   
4. Then try removing secondary account.
