Windows 10: Closed Bracket stopped working...

Hello, yesterday all of a sudden I couldn't use my closed bracket when I was programming then I noticed I cant use it at all. Today the issue still resides and the only way of getting it is with the windows + closed bracket key. I can still use } perfectly fine. - No, I cannot use it on the virtual keyboard-Yes, I have tried updating/reinstalling keyboard drivers-No, I havent made any custom shortcuts for this to happenSome insight would be extremely helpful as its simply impossible to talk to someone on the phone for support and there is no help online as I have looked everywhere for an answe

My Closed Curly Bracket button does not work

Good day everyone,

Recently, I noticed that my closing curly bracket has suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason. I have searched for solutions but to no avail. Note here that my shift button works just fine, my closing normal bracket works fine, however combine the two and the key doesn't work. Though, some times, attempting to spam the closing curly bracket alongside shift will result in a delayed closed curly bracket output, which is very very odd.

I have attempted to use Laptop Keyboard Tester and it shows that the key is in fact working. I've run troubleshoot and have uninstalled my keyboard driver and to no avail. My windows version is as shown below





I use a DELL Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I understand the problem with your computer keyboard closing curly bracket not working.



From your description, it seems that many times the shif key plus closing curly bracket will delay the output, which is not normal.



If you don't have this problem with the on-screen keyboard, then the problem may be in the hardware.



You can try an external keyboard, if the external keyboard is used normally then it is recommended to overhaul the laptop hardware.



If the external keyboard also appears the same problem that may be the keyboard input method settings there is a problem, you can go to the input method settings inside to see if there is shift + { key combination, will be canceled.
